If French Weapons Provided to Armenia Had No Military Significance, Azerbaijan Would Not Express Discontent: Ambassador
If the French weapons being provided to Armenia had no military significance, Azerbaijan would not express discontent every time it discusses them. This was stated by Olivier Decottignies, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Armenia, in an interview with Public Television, addressing accusations that weapons supplied from France are not effective and lack real combat significance.
“These weapons have defensive significance, and I believe that French equipment has proven its worth in our armies and in the armies of our buying countries around the world. There is no need to prove that,” he emphasized.
