Armenian Foreign Ministry's Statement on Recent Attack on Iranian Consulate in Damascus
Armenia is deeply concerned about the recent attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on X regarding the incident.
“The inviolability of diplomatic missions is an obligation and should not be questioned under any circumstances. We express our sincere condolences to the victims and the injured,” the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that on April 1, Syrian media reported that Israeli air forces targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
