EU Mission in Armenia Issues Statement on Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
The EU monitoring mission in Armenia has issued a statement: "Today we again monitored the Armenian side of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and no extraordinary military movements were observed. It was a peaceful Easter Monday," the message states.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry had previously released a statement accusing Armenia of carrying out fortification works and allegedly amassing troops at the border. It stated, "Any provocation from Armenia will be decisively prevented by the Azerbaijani army, and the entire responsibility for escalating the situation will fall on the military-political leadership of Armenia and its supporters."
