Klaar Responds to EU Observer Mission's Statement on Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
I am pleased to learn of the EU mission's establishment in Armenia, noting that no unusual military movements have been observed.
Toivo Klaar, the EU representative on the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, reacted to the EU observer mission's statement by saying: "The mission's purpose is to ensure confidence. We remain open to more active cooperation with the Azerbaijani authorities."
It is reminded that the EU observer mission reported that nothing extraordinary was noted today along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
