Peskov on Discussions About Restoring the Death Penalty in Russia
The Kremlin is not discussing the issue of lifting the moratorium on the death penalty. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, in response to a question from TASS.
“We are not participating in that discussion at this time,” he said.
It is worth mentioning that earlier reports indicated that discussions were underway in Moscow regarding the restoration of the death penalty.
