Video: Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan Hails a Taxi for Tourists

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan hailed a taxi for tourists. Sputnik Armenia's correspondent witnessed how English-speaking tourists approached Khachaturyan on Beirut Street in Yerevan, asking him to explain to the taxi driver where they wanted to go.

Khachaturyan did not refuse and tried to assist both the taxi driver and the tourists. “The police won't let me approach, they say there's some official,” said the driver. Khachaturyan responded that he is indeed that official—the President of Armenia.

In the end, they approached the taxi driver, and the female tourists were delighted to find out that the President of Armenia had helped them, and they took photos with him.
