Narek Samsonyan Sentenced to Two Months in Pretrial Detention

The court has decided to place Narek Samsonyan, the president of the NGO 'Civil Consciousness', in pretrial detention for two months.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Narek Samsonyan was arrested. According to the Investigative Committee, Samsonyan was apprehended under the provisions of Article 297, Part 2, Items 1 and 3 of the RA Criminal Code (hooliganism committed by a group of persons using information or communication technologies) within the framework of a criminal case being investigated.
