Russia Advises Against Testing Its Readiness for an Adequate and Tough Response, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
Russia advises no one to try and test its readiness for an adequate and tough response, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko while commenting on French President Emmanuel Macron's declarations regarding sending troops to Ukraine.
“We do not advise anyone to attempt to test our country’s readiness for an adequate and tough response,” he said.
At the end of February, following a conference in Paris regarding the Ukraine situation, President Macron did not rule out the possibility of Western countries sending ground forces to Ukraine. Macron also remarked that Western nations are “determined to do whatever is necessary” to prevent Russia from gaining supremacy in the conflict.
