New Regulations Established for the Formation of School Management Councils
The newspaper "Hayrapet" reports that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports is preparing to consolidate, enlarge, and optimize the management councils of public schools. A new regulation has been established for the formation of these councils, stipulating that management councils of schools with fewer students will merge. Specifically, under this new regulation, if a school has more than 1,500 students, the management council of that educational institution will not be enlarged. However, if the number of students is less than 1,500, a maximum of 7 school councils may combine, provided the total number of students does not exceed 2,500. In this case, the management council must have 17 members.
