Putin Does Not Rule Out Direct Conflict Between Russia and NATO
Russian President Vladimir Putin has not ruled out a direct conflict with NATO. Referring to the Western reactions to the Russian presidential elections, Putin stated, “What did you want them to do, stand up and applaud? They are fighting against us as well, and armed means.”
According to him, a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO is not excluded in the future, although no one is interested in such a scenario. “I believe that everything is possible in the modern world,” he said.
