War Will Come to Russian Territory: Danilov
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is deeply mistaken if he believes that war will not reach the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Korrespondent.
In particular, Danilov spoke about the recent actions of volunteers and the ‘Legion of Freedom of Russia’. He said, “This situation is quite clear; you can answer classically – people have the right to go and vote in their elections, which is what they are doing. I want to say that if Putin thinks that war will not come to Russian territory, he is deeply mistaken. It will come, and it will come quite far, and if today they are already starting to suffer at a distance of 800-900 kilometers, believe me, in the near future it will be thousands of kilometers.”
He noted that the next two to three months will be complicated, as the Russian Federation is now completing the so-called electoral process. “Countries will, of course, recognize the elections in Russia, which is an absolute disgrace in the modern world. We will closely monitor which countries will recognize the elections and which countries will congratulate Putin on this so-called electoral race. This will be quite an interesting situation,” Danilov stated.
