NATO Sees No Direct Military Threat from Russia: Stoltenberg
The North Atlantic Alliance does not see any direct threat from the Russian Federation against any of its member states, including Finland. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg while presenting the alliance's annual security report.
“NATO does not perceive any immediate military threat from Russia against any of its countries. This also applies to Finland,” he said.
Stoltenberg added that joining NATO has made Finland “safer.”
