Minister Comments on Death of Child Infected with Chickenpox
Many had quickly drawn conclusions about the cause of death; however, a forensic examination must provide the final verdict. This was stated by Armenia's Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan during a conversation with journalists as she responded to questions regarding the news circulating online about the death of a child due to chickenpox.
"Examinations are being conducted, and a certain timeframe is necessary before we receive results. The ministry is not rushing to make hasty conclusions," said the minister.
