Armenia to Withdraw Troops from 4 Villages Soon, Equipment Already in Operation: Tatul Hakobyan
It is already evident that Armenia will soon withdraw its troops from four villages: Baghanis-Ayrum, Nerk'in Voskepar-Ashagh Akhsipara, Kheyrimly, and Gyzylhajili. This was stated by journalist Tatul Hakobyan on his Facebook page.
“I just passed by and saw that the equipment is already in operation. I do not want to specify which area. Accordingly, Armenia urgently needs to: a) build a bridge in the Kiranč-Ajarkut section, b) relocate the gas pipeline route a significant distance into the territory of Armenia in some areas, c) change the road in at least two places along the Ijevan-Noyemberyan road in the Voskepar sector, which was built in the 2000s, by up to 100 meters into Armenia's interior, d) in three other areas, the road runs along the border with Azerbaijan, and for security reasons, it is logical to withdraw a few dozen meters in those sections.
If Azerbaijan does not withdraw its troops from the parts of Tavush that it occupied in the 1990s, it will signify a one-sided concession. I include one of the articles in the commentary, detailing how much territory Azerbaijan controls in the Tavush region, emphasizing that this is only in the Tavush region, which it occupied between 1990-1994. For now, that’s all,” Hakobyan wrote.
