Corruption Must Be Punished, It Is a Fundamental Issue: Newly Appointed Minister of Economy
There cannot be systemic corruption in the government and the Ministry of Economy. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan in a conversation with journalists.
“If certain officials do something wrong or perhaps abuse their positions, they must be punished, this is a fundamental issue,” he said.
The minister disagreed with a journalist's observation that systemic corruption exists in Armenia.
