Iran's Foreign Minister Calls for Boycott of Israeli Products
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has called for a boycott of Israeli products and the removal of the Jewish state from the UN General Assembly during an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
“During the extraordinary meeting of OIC foreign ministers in Jeddah, I emphasized the necessity of Israel's swift removal from the UN General Assembly and the cessation of this regime's membership in other international organizations. The severance of diplomatic relations with this regime and the absolute boycott of Israeli products can be seen as practical measures to support Palestine,” wrote Iran's foreign minister on X.
It should be noted that the Iranian foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, departed for Jeddah on Tuesday to attend an extraordinary session of the OIC regarding the crisis in the Gaza Strip. Before traveling to Jeddah, the Iranian diplomat met with Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Tehran, Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi.
