Pashinyan Explains Why Citizens Are Being Taxed
During a Q&A session in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was asked about the project to tax citizens working abroad. In response, Pashinyan outlined the motivation behind the taxation.
"The government's motivation is the love it has for the Republic of Armenia and its citizens, in the truest sense of the word. This is being done to reach a consensus regarding the future of our country; if we avoid confronting these questions, we will face a much larger problem," he detailed.
