“Like You, We Also Complain About This Issue”: Gnel Sanosyan

“Like you, we also complain about this issue,” stated the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, in response to a question from MP Arsen Torosyan of the ruling Prosperous Armenia faction.

The MP noted that the quality of roads significantly deteriorates after the installation of water lines, cables, or gas pipelines, when the asphalt is redone. “I haven’t seen roads restored to their original condition after such work in a long time,” he remarked.

Gnel Sanosyan pointed out that the roads are under their jurisdiction, and that works are often carried out by “Gazprom,” “Viola Water,” or electricity distribution companies without proper coordination. “Often, the restoration is not done as it should be, and we end up having problems with those organizations. Your raised concern is not only relevant but also one that we face and address,” he added.
