VIDEO. Buildings Will Collapse One Day: Avinyan Addresses the Issue of 4th Grade Emergency Buildings on Arzumanyan Street
“Buildings will collapse one day. We can’t endlessly persuade the residents of Arzumanyan 10 and 17; we need to take strict measures,” said Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during the operational meeting of the municipality, addressing the issue of constructing new buildings to replace the 4th grade emergency structures and the ongoing concerns from representatives of the residents of those buildings.
The municipality is providing purchase certificates for apartments to the residents of the 4th grade emergency buildings, which are slated for demolition, but some residents have not yet given their consent.
The mayor noted that last week, purchase certificates were handed out to residents of the 4th grade emergency buildings on Artsakh Lane.
