Large Scale Theft in Kotayk: Over 5 Million Drams Stolen from a Russian Citizen
On February 22, incidents of personal property theft occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 1:30 PM, Vadim Akhmetzyanov, a 47-year-old Russian citizen, reported to the Kotayk division of the Armenian Police that his vehicles had been robbed at the "Arinj Mall" shopping center. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
At the scene, Akhmetzyanov informed the police and investigators that on February 22, at approximately 1:00 PM, two Russian citizens, 28-year-old Iliya Petrov and 38-year-old Aleksei Gavrilov, had stolen spare parts from his entrusted "Volvo" and "Mercedes" vehicles located in the parking lot of the "Arinj Mall" in the administrative territory of Arinj village by dismantling them.
According to the source, Akhmetzyanov stated that he incurred damages amounting to 5 million 200 thousand drams.
