Crimea and Sevastopol are inseparable parts of Russia, stated President Vladimir Putin, as quoted on the Kremlin's website.
“March 16, 2014, was a truly fateful juncture for the residents of Sevastopol and Crimea, when they made a firm and unequivocal choice to forever be with Russia. Today, Crimea and Sevastopol are an inseparable part of it,” Putin said.
He emphasized that these regions play a significant role in strengthening the unity and security of the Russian Federation. The President also noted that Crimea’s history is inseparable from the history of Russia.
