Washington to Continue Efforts to Reconcile Yerevan and Baku

Washington will continue its efforts to reconcile Yerevan and Baku. This statement was made during a press briefing by the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien, commenting on the recent incidents along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

"I think the current tension simply underscores the importance of diplomacy, but I don't want to speculate on any specific recent actions, so we will just continue on the path of trying to bring the parties closer together," he stated.
