Peskov on Russia-Ukraine Negotiations
Ukraine could have signed peace agreements with Russia in March 2022 at a lower cost, but at the request of the Anglo-Saxons, it later rejected the achieved outcomes. The exit from the current situation will increasingly become more difficult for Kyiv and the West. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“For collective Western and Ukrainian forces, it will be increasingly difficult each time,” Peskov said in response to a question about how the West might find a dignified exit from the situation discussed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.
“Because Ukraine could have signed peace agreements in March (2022 – ed.), but they did not, or rather, they did it and then, as we say, at the request of the Anglo-Saxons, they refused the opportunity to negotiate,” he emphasized.
Peskov, when speaking about the possibility of new peace negotiations with Ukraine, stated that the reality is completely different now, and the Kyiv regime must recognize this.
“Now, if we go to the same negotiations, there is a completely different reality. And this different reality, no matter how painful it may be for the Kyiv regime, must be recognized,” Peskov said.
