US and UK Halt Funding for Palestinian Refugee Agency
The United States, the United Kingdom, and several other countries have suspended funding for the UN agency that assists Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the Middle East. Australia, Italy, and Canada have also ceased their financial support for the organization.
Previously, several employees of UNRWA were accused of being involved in the terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7.
