A and B Zone Parking Areas Will Operate Free Today and Tomorrow: Avinyan

The A and B zone parking areas in the capital will operate free of charge today and tomorrow, as there may be a need for unplanned parking due to weather conditions. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page.

“Dear Yerevan residents, considering the snowfall that resumed on January 27, we urge you to travel by motor vehicles only when absolutely necessary and exclusively with winter tires. The snowfall has continued throughout the day, so please exercise caution due to the high risk of traffic on the streets. I also want to inform you that snow removal operations have commenced in the administrative areas of the capital in parallel with the resumption of snowfall overnight, and they are ongoing under the conditions of falling snow. Free parking in the capital's A and B zone areas today and tomorrow is a measure to cope with potential vehicle congestion on the streets,” he wrote.
