Photos: Before and After the Occupation of Artsakh – Azerbaijanis Destroy Armenian Monuments
The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has published photographs illustrating the condition of Armenian monuments following Azerbaijan’s occupation of Artsakh and the forced displacement of Armenians.
“These acts are blatant vandalism, showing hatred and hostility towards Christianity and Armenian culture. Naturally, Azerbaijani barbarians will obstruct UNESCO from visiting the occupied Artsakh,” the statement reads.
The images include the Saint John the Baptist Church (Green Hour) in Shushi, the Mother Cathedral of Shushi (Ghazanchetsots Church), and the Holy Mother of God Church in Mehakavan, Artsakh.
