Russia Faces Pressure from All Sides: Putin
The economy of the Russian Federation ranks first in Europe in terms of purchasing power parity and fifth globally. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Eastern Economic Forum business leaders. The broadcast is conducted by the Kremlin's press service on Telegram. According to the politician, despite Russia being "squeezed and pressured from all sides," it remains the largest economy in Europe by volume. He noted that China, the USA, India, Japan, and Russia currently hold the leading positions in the global economy. Furthermore, in terms of purchasing power parity, Russia has surpassed all of Europe.
Additionally, the president mentioned that there is still "work to be done" per capita.
