How Many Russian 'Kinzhal' Missiles Have Been Shot Down by Ukrainian Air Defense?
Since the start of the large-scale war, Russia has launched 63 'Kinzhal' hypersonic missiles towards Ukraine. Ukraine has intercepted 25 of these missiles. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ihnat, during a television marathon. The information was provided by unian.net.
"We currently have 63 launched 'Kinzhal' missiles since the beginning of the large-scale invasion. This is official information. 25 were destroyed starting from May 4. That is when we received the Patriot system since last spring, enabling us to intercept hypersonic missiles," the spokesperson stated.
Igant also commented on a video captured during a mass missile attack on Kyiv, where one of the enemy missiles fell in Dnipro. He noted that it has not yet been confirmed that it was a 'Kinzhal'.
"It could have been anything. That is why one can say something only after seeing it," he added.
