Russia Does Not Hinder the U.S. in Efforts to Resolve Armenia-Azerbaijan Relations: Miller
Russia is not hindering U.S. diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller during a press briefing in response to a relevant question.
“Russia is not doing anything to prevent us from pursuing those important diplomatic efforts that we believe are necessary for Armenia and Azerbaijan. We will continue to carry them out,” Miller noted.
Regarding the timing of the previously announced meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries in Washington, Miller indicated that an official announcement would follow as soon as the schedule for the negotiations is determined.
