Ararat Mirzoyan on Negotiations with Azerbaijan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, addressed questions regarding the "3+3" format and spoke about establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
The Foreign Minister specifically stated, "Armenia is sincerely and constructively engaged in negotiations with Azerbaijan for peace and normalization of relations. We have been negotiating with Azerbaijan in several directions and phases, and we are working on a specific peace agreement. Many assert that there is a real opportunity to bring this process to a logical conclusion. Indeed, we have that opportunity despite the forced displacement of the Nagorno-Karabakh population and the rhetoric of hatred, and we are doing everything we can to ensure that this process reaches its logical conclusion."
He also noted, "In negotiations with Azerbaijan, we see both positive and negative signals, such as the aggressive calls regularly coming from Azerbaijan and the avoidance of high-level meetings."
