Significant Quantity of Military Supplies Transferred to the Ministry of Defense's Military Police in 2023
The Military Police of the Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has carried out explanatory work and operational measures throughout 2023, resulting in the transfer of a significant amount of illegally held military supplies. Different subdivisions of the Military Police have seized 63 rifles, 22 grenades, 4 pistols, 1 faggot station, bulletproof vests, and a large quantity of ammunition and military supplies from the population. This information was provided by Aram Torosyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
“The Military Police of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense continues to carry out systematic work to prevent and uncover cases of illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition. Once again, the Military Police urges citizens to voluntarily present any illegally held weapons and ammunition to the Military Police in order to avoid criminal liability,” wrote Torosyan, also sharing a photograph alongside the announcement.
