‘This is not a chain of coincidences’: Armenian church in Sweden robbed and vandalized
In the city of Södertälje, Sweden, an Armenian church has been robbed and vandalized. Swedish media report that valuable items, both financially and spiritually significant, were stolen from the Holy Mary Armenian Apostolic Church. The police are currently investigating the incident.
It is noted that the exact time of the break-in is unclear, but the event occurred on Wednesday night or early morning.
Additionally, Lousineh, a representative of the Armenian community in Sweden, mentioned in a post on X that there has been a series of attacks on Armenian graves in Sweden, as well as attacks directed personally at her and the church.
‘This is not a chain of coincidences. This is deliberate targeting and intimidation,’ she wrote.
