All Schools Will Have New Sports Halls by 2026: Sisak Gabrielyan
All schools will have new sports halls by 2026. This was stated by Sisak Gabrielyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction of the Armenian National Assembly, on his Facebook page.
“By the end of the year, an additional 23 schools will have colorful, beautiful, modern, and newly constructed or renovated sports halls. Dear students, I want you to use these halls and equipment carefully, but at the same time, without regret. Unfortunately, there have been and still are schools without such infrastructure, which may look magnificent at first glance but are actually essential for a healthy lifestyle and education,” he wrote.
Gabrielyan also announced that the government intends to completely close this chapter for all schools by 2026. “Since we regularly receive letters from various communities, I will soon try to visually present on maps the list of schools in line, along with the start and end dates of the construction,” he added. “By the way, this program is not related to the construction or renovation of the new 300 schools and 500 kindergartens; I will address their performance next time,” he added.
