20 Million Dollars to Assist Residents of Gaza Strip
The World Bank has decided to allocate $20 million to provide additional assistance to the affected population in the Gaza Strip.
“The World Bank has announced new emergency funding of $20 million for the people affected in Gaza, as part of its overall support package of $35 million,” the organization's statement said.
The additional funding includes $10 million for food vouchers and packages, which will benefit 377,000 people. Supplies will be organized with the assistance of the UN World Food Programme.
