The Situation in Ukraine is Severe: State Department Issues Statement

The United States assesses that the situation in Ukraine is severe, considering that the funds allocated by the American administration to support Kyiv will soon be exhausted. This was stated by Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, during a press briefing, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The situation on the battlefield is undoubtedly severe. Regarding the request for additional funding, we are seriously concerned that the resources are running out,” said the State Department representative.

Miller emphasized that more than 97 percent of the funds initially allocated by Congress for President Joe Biden have already been spent. “Very soon, these (funds - ed.) will be depleted,” he added.
