Armenian Trucks in Lars Await Their Turn: Number Reaches 1700
More than 1,700 Armenian trucks are waiting near Upper Lars, at the border between Georgia and Russia, for their turn to cross. This was stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia by Vahan Hakobyan, customs attaché at the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
“About 800 are waiting in Georgian territory, and already 900 on the Russian side,” Hakobyan noted in a conversation with the media.
It should be added that since yesterday, traffic has only been open for light passenger and passenger transport.
