Peskov Comments on Relations with Armenia
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the absence of Armenian representatives at the CSTO summit in Minsk, expressing hope that Armenia is not changing its foreign policy directions. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“We hope that Armenia is not changing its foreign policy vectors; Armenia remains our ally, our strategic partner in both bilateral and multilateral formats of cooperation. We will continue to communicate with them,” Peskov stated.
Earlier, Peskov noted that the leaders of the CSTO member states would likely discuss the 'Armenian factor' during the summit and consider how to handle it going forward.
