Iran and Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers Have a Telephone Conversation
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, have had a telephone conversation. This was reported by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the released statement, the two sides discussed the current situation in Iran-Azerbaijan relations and the prospects for cooperation. "The importance of strengthening regional dialogue was emphasized. Opinions were exchanged on multilateral and regional issues. The parties expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in the region and the international arena," the statement said.
