Closed Meeting Held in the Civil Contract Party
Yesterday, the Civil Contract party held a closed discussion with candidates for membership in the Television and Radio Commission.
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that there were four candidates present, but following the meeting, the party approved journalist, theater expert, and media.am contributor Nune Hakverdyan, whose latest article discusses the Russian First Channel's program "Tutti's Heirs' Puppets," analyzing Nikol Pashinyan.
Hakverdyan's article is titled "The Russian Informational Attack is Useful." The other candidates seemingly played a secondary role to avoid the perception of a lack of competition, as they were unfamiliar faces.
It is also noteworthy that the commission currently has four members, despite the law allowing for up to seven members. Most likely, a new member will be chosen during the next parliamentary session. Moreover, special sessions are expected in the parliament next week, with preliminary information indicating that one of the extraordinary sessions could be on November 21. The draft budget is also slated for voting.
