French Armored Vehicles Rejected by Ukraine Sent to Armenia
The Bastion armored vehicles sent by France to Armenia have been rejected by Ukraine due to inadequate protection. According to RIA Novosti, this information was reported by Ouest France.
Yerevan has begun receiving military assistance from Paris. The first batch of armored vehicles for the Armenian army is already being delivered through Georgia. At the same time, Tribune reported in 2022 that France planned to send about 20 Bastion armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. According to the publication, the Bastions went to Armenia instead of Ukraine.
"Those vehicles were originally intended for Ukraine, but Kyiv believed they were poorly protected against artillery fire and anti-tank missiles," stated the announcement from Ouest France.
It is reminded that earlier we published the Ministry of Defense's comments regarding the military equipment being sent from France to Armenia.
