Nineteen freight cars have derailed near Ryazan, Russia. This information was reported by the Moscow Railway, a branch of Russian Railways.

According to preliminary data, the train derailed due to 'unauthorized intervention by third parties.' 'Today at 07:12 (Yerevan time 08:12), in the area of the Ribnoye checkpoint, according to initial information, 19 freight cars derailed due to interference in railway transport operations by unauthorized individuals,' explained the organization.

The assistant driver sustained minor injuries and was aided by emergency medical personnel. It was noted that there is no environmental threat as a result of the incident.
