The Situation Has Actually Escalated Due to Israeli Leadership Actions: Iraqi Prime Minister

The escalation of conflict in the Middle East is the result of Israel's policies towards the Palestinian people. This was stated by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani, whose remarks were published on his office's Telegram channel. The information was reported by gazeta.ru.

The Prime Minister was on a working visit to Iran today, where he held talks with President Ebrahim Raisi, followed by a joint press conference.

During the event, Mohammed Al-Sudani emphasized that the escalation of the Middle Eastern conflict is not caused by the attack on Israel by the Palestinian Hamas movement on October 7. According to him, the actual situation has worsened due to the actions of the Israeli leadership.

“The latest crisis is a result of the Israeli authorities' criminal occupation policies against the Palestinians, forced displacements, settlement construction, and violations of Palestinians' rights at the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” the Iraqi Prime Minister highlighted.
