Sanctions Hit the Interests of the Very States that Impose Them: Peskov
The West continues to apply sanctions pressure on Russia, even though it is running out of ideas and is facing problems itself. This opinion was expressed by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, during a conversation with journalists. The information was reported by TASS.
“Both the U.S. and the EU will continue to concoct new sanctions, although it is evident that they are already short on ideas,” said the Kremlin representative.
Peskov emphasized that “both in the U.S. and in the EU, there is an understanding that the current packages of sanctions are hitting the very interests of the states that have imposed those sanctions.”
