Peskov on the Stalemate in the Conflict
The Kremlin disagrees with the statements made by Valery Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, who said that the conflict surrounding the country has reached a deadlock. The commander had previously mentioned this in the context of Ukrainian troops being unable to make a breakthrough on the front line. Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian President, shared this information during a conversation with journalists. TASS reports.
“No, it has not reached a deadlock. Russia is consistently continuing the implementation of the special military operation. All the goals that have been set must be achieved,” Peskov stated to reporters.
According to Peskov, Ukraine has long needed to understand that it is absurd to even talk about the possibility of victory on the battlefield. “The Kyiv regime should have long recognized that even talking about any prospects for victory on the battlefield is absurd. The sooner the Kyiv regime realizes this, the sooner some prospects will open up for them,” he said.
