Is Yevgeny Prigozhin's Son the New Leader of Wagner?
The units of the Wagner private military company have been incorporated into the composition of the National Guard of Russia, with the commander now being the son of the deceased Yevgeny Prigozhin, Pavel. This was reported by the 59.RU portal, citing a representative of the company. The information was also conveyed by lenta.ru.
“Everything remains as it was before—attributes, symbolism. We are recruiting those who already have combat experience, including those who have previously been part of the organization,” said a representative of Wagner.
The main difference now is that the company will no longer recruit people from prisons. To obtain employment, it is necessary to provide a Russian passport and a number of other documents, including a power of attorney for the person who will receive money on behalf of the participant of the organization.
