“In addition, flights of the Azimuth and Red Wings airlines from Tel Aviv to Mineralnye Vody and Makhachkala will temporarily be redirected to other cities in Russia,” the agency clarified.
It is important to note that the airport was closed on the evening of October 29, when hundreds of people burst in after a flight from Tel Aviv, searching for refugees from Israel. Dagestani Muslims demanded that entry be denied to Jews arriving on the Tel Aviv-Makhachkala flight.
