Israel is recalling its diplomats from Turkey to reassess bilateral relations in light of recent statements made by the Turkish political leadership, particularly President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This was announced by Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
“In response to the escalation in the tone of Turkey's statements, I have ordered the recall of our diplomatic representatives from Turkey for the purpose of reevaluating Israeli-Turkish relations,” the minister stated.
