Where Have Flights at Damascus and Aleppo Airports Been Transferred?
The Syrian Ministry of Transport has announced that following the Israeli aggression targeting the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo on the morning of October 22, which rendered them inoperative, all regular flights (arrivals and departures) at these airports will be transferred to Latakia International Airport.
According to SANA, in a statement on its Telegram channel, the ministry urged travelers to coordinate their inquiries with airlines, as updates regarding flights, including schedule changes, arrival points, and cancellations, will be published later.
The source reported that the Syrian Ministry of Transport mourns the death of Omar Abu Isa, a civil servant in the meteorological department at Damascus International Airport, who became a victim of the aggression. The ministry also wished a speedy recovery to another victim of the attack.
It is worth reminding that it was previously reported that the Israel Defense Forces struck the airports in Damascus and Aleppo.
