VIDEO: 'We will not leave, we will stay on our land' – Palestinian President
The President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, has warned about the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. He made this announcement at a summit in Cairo. According to him, security and peace in the region will only be established after the creation of Palestinian and Jewish states.
“We will not leave, we will stay on our land,” Abbas's words were quoted by RIA Novosti.
A summit discussing the Palestinian issue is currently being held in Cairo, Egypt. This information was reported by the Al Arabiya television channel. More than 30 states and representatives from various international and regional organizations are participating in the summit dedicated to the Palestinian issue.
