Israel Closes Embassies in Several Countries in the Middle East
Israeli authorities have announced the temporary closure of embassies in several countries in the Middle East. “Israel is closing its embassies in several countries in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Turkey,” the statement said on the X social media platform by the Israeli public broadcaster.
According to Israeli media, the operations of approximately 20 Israeli diplomatic missions worldwide are currently restricted in one way or another. Staff members have been instructed to stay home and work remotely or relocate to safer cities in their host countries.
